Piper Jaffray Women in Business Forum
For young women interested in potential career paths within asset management, equities, fixed income investment banking, public finance and corporate support groups.
Piper Jaffray is committed to recruiting and retaining the best talent from undergraduate and graduate schools across the country. By participating in the 13th annual Piper Jaffray Women in Business Forum (previously branded the Women in Finance Forum), you will be given the opportunity to learn about possible career paths within asset management, equities, fixed income investment banking, public finance and our corporate support groups. You will also experience our firm’s culture first-hand and hear from our top business lines executives.
The Women in Business Forum is a one-day informational program to be held at our Minneapolis headquarters on Thursday, August 10, 2017. As a participant in the program, you will hear directly from our firm’s senior leadership, interact with our various business line representatives, and network with peers from across the country in an intimate setting. Attendees will participate in an interactive panel, group discussions and a networking session.
The program is a pipeline to both full-time and internship recruiting. The application process is open to undergrad students (rising juniors/undergrad class of 2019; rising seniors/undergrad class of 2018). We are targeting female candidates from diverse backgrounds and are open to students from all majors and disciplines. We are looking for the following skills/qualifications:
- Strong academic performance at a top four-year college/university
- Interest in the Financial Services Industry
- Evidence of on campus leadership and/or work experience
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
