Zach Manis is a vice president in the consumer investment banking group at Piper Jaffray & Co, having re-joined the firm in 2018 after several years working at Wells Fargo Securities. Manis has more than seven years of investment banking experience and is focused primarily on the apparel, footwear & accessories sector – and in particular – the intersection of retail, eCommerce and technology. Manis began his banking career within the private bank at Credit Suisse Securities in New York.

Prior to banking, Manis served as a co-founding member of the International Conservation Caucus Foundation (ICCF), a nonprofit advocacy group in Washington, D.C. focused on promoting U.S. investment in global natural resources. Today, Manis serves as the president of the board for the Conservation Council of Nations, a sister organization to ICCF focused on building inter-parliamentary interaction on conservation and sustainability issues. In Charlotte, Manis is on the board of directors for KIPP Charlotte Public Charter Schools.

Manis earned a bachelor’s degree in politics from Washington and Lee University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
