Eric Lunde is a managing director in the senior living public finance investment banking at Piper Jaffray. With a public finance career spanning 21 years (13 with Piper Jaffray), Lunde's focus is on senior living finance for clients nationwide. Working primarily with nonprofit borrowers, Lunde originates bond and loan transactions with all types of credit enhancements, senior and subordinate structures and tax credit equity. These include standalone facilities of all types, campuses and continuing care retirement communities.

Prior to joining Piper Jaffray in 1999, Lunde spent nearly eight years financing a variety of senior living and acute care facilities with another regional public finance firm.

Active in his community, Lunde serves on the boards of three nonprofit organizations (two in the senior living field) and has spoken at senior living conferences and served on several committees for Aging Services of Minnesota.

Lunde earned a bachelor's degree in financial management from Hope College and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of St. Thomas with a concentration in financial management.

Patrick O’Leary joined public finance investment banking at Piper Jaffray in 2005. He is primarily engaged in the origination of tax exempt bonds and loans for senior housing clients, and his clients consist primarily of community based not-for-profit sponsors and private owners that operate skilled nursing, nursing, assisted living, memory care and congregate facilities. O’Leary is experienced in the origination of non-rated tax-exempt bonds, tax-exempt loans, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD programs.

Prior to joining the firm, O’Leary spent 16 years in the public finance departments of two Minneapolis-based investment banking firms.

O’Leary is a graduate of Lawrence University, Wisconsin, with bachelor's degrees in economics and Slavic linguistics. He has been recognized as the Associate Member of the Year by the Iowa Association of Homes & Services for the Aging in 2011 for outstanding partnership and dedication to members of that association, and is frequently invited to speak at senior housing summits in Minnesota and Iowa.

Jenny Wade joined Piper Jaffray public finance services in 2006 as a member of the senior living investment banking team. Wade focuses on non-rated senior living financings for skilled nursing, assisted living, independent living and memory care facilities, primarily for nonprofit clients.

Prior to joining Piper Jaffray, Wade spent five years with the Minneapolis office of Public Financial Management (PFM), a national financial advisory firm to local and state governments.

Wade received a bachelor’s degree in management and French with an emphasis in international management from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. She is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management.

Matthew Weaver is a managing director in Piper Jaffray public finance investment banking. He has more than 25 years of experience in healthcare, senior living and municipal finance.

Prior to joining the firm, Weaver was an executive vice president with a national senior living development and management firm where he oversaw the development and financing of startup and operations of continuing care retirement communities. He has also worked for Drexel Burnham Lambert, Inc., Underwood, Neuhaus & Co. and Ponder & Co., where he structured and arranged tax-exempt and taxable bond issues for hospitals, long-term care, and other municipal and not-for-profit organizations.

Weaver has served on the state of Florida health and rehabilitation services committee on housing for the elderly and has been a frequent speaker at senior living and healthcare forums.

Weaver graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor’s degree in economics from the College of Wooster and received a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance from the University of Michigan.

Bradley Wirt is a managing director in the real estate finance team in public finance investment banking at Piper Jaffray. His responsibilities include originating multifamily bond transactions and loans for senior living developments, multifamily assets, and commercial real estate. Clients include private developers, nonprofit organizations and all types of public entities in the affordable housing industry. Wirt joined Piper Jaffray in 1996 and has more than 20 years of investment banking experience.

A graduate of St. Cloud State University, Wirt holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Local and Urban Affairs.
