Nabil Bennouna joined Piper Jaffray in 2015 as a vice president in the public finance group and brings with him several years of public utility and infrastructure banking experience. He has served as lead quantitative structuring banker and day-to-day banking contact on over $6.1 billion of senior book-running manager debt underwriting assignments.

He has participated in building the success of a team that has consistently ranked amongst the top 10 underwriters of public power debt. Additionally, he has provided a variety of quantitative and transactional services for a number of complex and well-established issuers throughout his career. In addition to leading the quantitative structuring for a $1.316 billion Personal Income Tax Revenue Bond financing for the Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, he has senior managed multiple transactions for the New York City Municipal Water Finance Authority, and has provided banking coverage to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, Long Island Power Authority,  Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems, New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, the University of California and the State of Connecticut.

Bennouna holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Tulane University.
