PALO ALTO, Calif., Oct 22, 2007 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- Piper Jaffray will host its third annual Global Internet Summit November 13-14 in Laguna Beach, Calif. The theme of this year's summit, "One Click Away: Disruption & Opportunity," is shaped by the dynamically changing Internet landscape, opportunities for emerging players and how companies must react to the new age of the Internet where the user has greater control.

The summit will include 15 interactive panel discussions, keynote presentations and institutional one-on-one meetings. More than 60 executives and experts will discuss current Internet trends and how their companies are positioned in a competitive landscape, as well as future trends that will shape the successes of Internet companies.
